Classes are back in session today! The Campus is bustling with activity once again.
Yesterday, Saint Peter's College welcomed the Class of 2013 and faculty to campus for the start of the new school year. The day started off with Freshman Convocation and continued on to the Rec Life Center for "Freshman Funch" (fun + lunch).
In the afternoon, faculty, friends, and family gathered in the Roy Irving Theatre for this year's Faculty Convocation. During the ceremony, recipients of the 2009 Bene Merenti Award, who have served at Saint Peter's for 20 years, were celebrated for their professional and personal accomplishments. Also presented at the Convocation were the 2009 40 years of Service Award, Anniversaries within the Jesuit Society, Granted Tenure, Promotions to Associate Professor, Faculty Fellowships, Kenny Fellowships, Faculty Teaching Associate Fellowships, Faculty Research Associate Award, and the James N. Loughran, S.J., Mission Fellowship.
