Jubilation! Sondra Buesing Riley Sings With Grammy Award Winning Choir

Saint Peter’s College community warmly congratulates Sondra Buesing Riley, director of the cooperative education and internship program. She sings with the gospel choir Jubilation, established in 1998 under the auspices of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. The group is committed to singing African-American sacred music with an emphasis on gospel, and to ministering through song and praise. Oh Happy Day is a compilation CD, on which Queen Latifah and Jubilation sing the title track. The recording earned three 2010 Grammy Award nominations, and won in the category of best traditional gospel music. While Ms. Riley did not attend the 2010 Grammy Awards program, she was thrilled to be represented by Jubilation Artistic Director, Rev. Stefanie R. Minatee, who accompanied Queen Latifah at the event.
