Dr. Cornacchia Appears with Governor Christie

Saint Peter’s College President Eugene J. Cornacchia, Ph.D. will appear with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie on the public affairs television program, Caucus: New Jersey. This episode, titled “Conversations with Governor Chris Christie – The Future of Higher Education,” was hosted by Emmy Award-winning anchor Steve Adubato; it will first air on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. on THIRTEEN/WNET. It will be broadcast again on NJN on Sunday, July 11 at 8:30 a.m. and on Monday, July 12 at 11:30 p.m.; on WLIW 21 on Wednesday, July 14 at 12:00 a.m. and on WLIW/World on Friday, July 16 at 7:00 a.m.

President Cornacchia, along with three other higher education leaders in New Jersey, had the opportunity to discuss with Governor Christie the financial and social issues that colleges and universities are facing, in response to his proposed state budget cuts.
