Bob Hurley '71, famed coach of the Saint Anthony High School boy's basketball team, just achieved his 1000th win as a coach with a victory this afternoon over Saint Mary High School, also of Jersey City. Coach Hurley, who already holds the record for the most victories of a New Jersey basketball coach, was featured in a recent issue of Saint Peter's College. The entire magazine and article are available online. Leading up to today's historic win, he and his team were highlighted by The Star-Ledger in an interesting article and video. Congratulations to the Friars and Coach Hurley!
