The Saint Peter's College Department of Theology teamed up with Campus Ministry to create a joint project for students in first theology studies. The students are invited to learn about different religions by actually going to places like the Islamic Center of Jersey City or the United Synagogue of Hoboken, and not simply learning through classroom experiences. Susan L. Graham, Ph.D., associate professor of theology shares that the purpose of the program is to give students "a fuller experience of various religions."
On November 3, students will be treated to a visit at the Zen Meditation Center lead by Saint Peter's own Rev. Robert Kennedy, S.J. Visit Morning Star Zendo online to find out more about how people of all faiths can practice meditation.
