Peacocks Win!

The Peacocks scored a 58-34 victory over Monmouth University this morning at 6:00 a.m. in the Yanitelli Recreational Life Center. The game, televised live on ESPN, was part of a 24-hour College Hoops Marathon.

Students celebrated all night in the RLC Bubble and filled the stands bright and early to cheer on the team. Food collected for the homeless during the event was on display as guests entered the Center Court.

Wear your SPC Best for ESPN Tomorrow!

The entire Saint Peter's College community is in countdown mode as in less than 24 hours ESPN will be on the Jersey City campus and the Peacocks take on the Monmouth University Hawks. Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 17, at 6:00 a.m., Saint Peter's will appear live on ESPN as part of their 24 Hours of College Basketball Marathon.

All employees are invited to show their Peacock Pride by wearing their Saint Peter’s apparel to work tomorrow to join in SPC Spirit Day. All employees attending the game may leave work early at 2:00 pm (subject to each department manager’s discretion). (All college offices must be staffed for regular business hours.)

Highlights of the event include:
9:00 p.m. - Doors open for “All-nighter” in RLC bubble
12:00 a.m. - Pizza party in RLC bubble
4:30 a.m. - Pep rally/ breakfast RLC bubble
6:00 a.m. - Tip-off Live on ESPN TV!

One student will get the opportunity to shoot a half court shot for free spring tuition. The winner will be selected from students that attend the Pep Rally and free breakfast in the RLC Bubble between 4:00 am and 5:00 am. Fans are also encouraged to bring a non perishable food item to the game as part of the College's November Food Drive.
