Former Duke Star and ESPN College Basketball Analyst Jay Williams to Speak at Saint Peter's College

Wednesday, January 27, 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Roy Irving Theatre
Jay Williams was the number two overall pick by the Chicago Bulls in the 2002 NBA draft after winning a National Championship and College Basketball Player of the Year honors at Duke University. However, after playing for the Bulls only one year, Williams was in a devastating motorcycle accident. He found tremendous success as an ESPN college basketball analyst and color commentator. The audience may recognize his voice from his coverage of March Madness during the 2008 and 2009 seasons. Williams, a New Jersey native, will discuss his experience in basketball and his commitment to academics and community involvement off of the court.

This event for the Saint Peter's College community is part of a week-long Spirit Week series.
