Professor Comments on NJ Business Development

Saint Peter's College Professor Jack Hampton recently shared his thoughts with The Star Ledger on the status of prospective employers in New Jersey. The article by Lee Miller discusses what new college graduates can expect in the regional job market.

"Jack Hampton, professor and director of graduate business programs at Saint Peter’s College, describes the job market in New Jersey similarly: "Companies are hiring, but they are not moving quickly and they are not replacing all the employees that have been let go. The near-term outlook is many of the jobs that disappeared in the past 18 months will never be brought back. Even as we have some job growth, it is not matching the expanding New Jersey labor pool."
